The Light around the Corner!

Soft pastel on Pastelmat card, ca 24 x 30 cm. Depicts the strong light/dark contrast captured on-site in my local cynyon through which the river Sense flows. Roughly 30 minutes by car, SW of Bern, Switzerland. Started with a hard pastel underpainting using  a piece of foam piping insulation, followed by further work using Unison and Faber Castell pastels. On-hold until I make an oil study from it and life.
